This Oatmeal bake makes a great breakfast and it’s a great way to use up those ripe bananas and fruit. Have pears, throw those in too.
Preheat Oven 350
– 1 c. Old Fashioned Oats
– 1 c. Steel Cut Oats
– 2 c. Almond Milk (can use regular milk instead)
– 2 Apples
– 2 Ripe Bananas
– 1 tsp. Baking Powder
– Top with a drizzle of honey (can also drizzle with peanut butter)
– 2 scoops Protein Powder (optional)
Mix all ingredients. Top with honey or peanut butter. Put in 9×9 glass baking pan. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes or until golden brown. This recipe can also be easily halved or quartered, just reduce your baking time.
We love this dish served warm for breakfast. Leftovers can be frozen in single servings and enjoyed later.
