Broccoli Rabe, also called Broccoli Rapini or Broccoli Raab, is a green cruciferous vegetable. Its leaves, buds, and stems are all edible. Broccoli Rabe is actually related to the turnip family and has a slightly bitter, flavor that will somewhat mellow when cooked. This veggie is best enjoyed sauteed, or blanched to soften the stalks and leaves.
